By Alex These are the real deal screws. Nothing like em anywhere. Seller shipped fast. Other similar screws are weaker, and nothing drives in as well as the
Phillips Square drive system. I have purchased over 300 dollars worth of these from this seller recently as the local home stores only offer a lesser quality screw with a worse tip arrangement. These can be removed reliably, as the other brands break at a rate of 50% when removal from treated wood.
It's the ONLY brand I'll use for treated decks, so I stocked up to prevent having to pick up another brand if I was out of these good ones. I have used these for years with no problems.

I've been using these screws for years, and love them! Then Home Depot replaced the Square-Driv with the Torx drive screws. I tried them twice (thought maybe I got a bad box of screws) and HATE them. Now I have to order Square-Driv on line. Hopefully the office idiot at Home Depot who decided to stock Torx screws in stead of Square-Driv will discover that their Torx drives aren't selling and maybe ask somebody who actually uses deck screws why.
Why do I HATE Torx? When you actually work with deck screws you know that often you have to drive them in with the screw gun at an angle to the head of the screw. You'll never do that with a Torx. Even when you can hit the head of the screw at a perfect 90 degree angle the bit will slip. Also when I'm working I switch back and forth between a 3" screw and 1 5/8". Torx uses one size bit for the 3" and a smaller bit for the 1 5/8" So I also have to switch the bit in the screw gun! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! Square-Driv = same bit all the time. '''

By RDP I was really pleased to find this length screw in 25 pound quantities. Big box stores only carry this length in 5 pound boxes. I use them for installing wood fence boards. They don't rust and are easy to remove if a board warps or gets damaged. Can't beat the price.
